Google File Stream Login Error

I am unable to login to Google's Drive File Stream.  When I login it gives a generic error that states "Can't reach Google Drive" and a notification pops up in the bottom corner stating that it encountered an error and had to close.  Looking over the event viewer I see the attached log recorded every time I have tried to login.  The computer is running Windows 10 Pro with Windows Defender as the anti-virus and the we use Google Apps.  This is a new computer and Google File Stream or Drive has never logged in successfully.  Any suggestions?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Go to C:\Users\Name of the user\App Data\Local\Google ->  find 'Drive FS' and delete it.
Reboot and try again.

is the time / date at the computer correct? also, did you tried backup & sync? ta least check if they work
Hello ThereSystem AdministratorCommented:
I suggest to uninstall Drive File Stream. First delete DriveFS as noted above. Then delete the entire the Google Drive folder and reinstall Drive File Stream.

Remember that Drive File Stream is only available for G Suite accounts and will not work for any @gmail.com accounts. If you would like to sync your @gmail.com accounts, you can use Backup & Sync.

Thanks everyone for the assistance, this turned out to be caused by 3rd party software that was using a proxy server,
