Out of date calendar entries, Outlook 2016, Office 365

A user in our organisation has been experiencing a strange issue with her Outlook calendars/meetings. Using Office 365 with Office 2016. It happens randomly, she will receive calendar entry saying:

"Your meeting was found to be out of date and has been automatically updated"

She hasn't changed anything. Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thanks for that. I see there are the causes listed there in that article and best guidelines but not any way to fix the current issue.

Check the time zone setting for that user in EXO...

Get-Mailbox | Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration

Also, check the time zone and date/time set on that user's computer.

Also you may want to check to see if they have cached exchange mode enabled. I have seen where the OST causes some confusion and is relieved when you uncheck cache exchange mode in the user mail profile. Close outlook. Then re-enable cached exchange mode.
