Azure ad premium

I have numerous on premise exchange users who are restricted from accessing email on smart devices or outside the office.
I am planning on moving these users to O365 but this obviously creates an issue as they can now access from any where.
I was told ems or perhaps azure ad premium may be a solution but no one could tell me specifically how. I can google but I’m looking for admin experience of someone that has done this. Can it be restricted? Thanks

Hi. I'm not sure how AD Premium would help. We just recently moved to O365 using the E3 license. We dont have Azure AD premium as we are only using azure AD currently to sync our on prem AD for O365 logins using AD connect on one of our DC's.

With that said, once a user is moved to O365/Exchange online you have several options to restrict how they can access email. I've attached a pic from one of my users.
