subform in ms/access shows an empty record

On my app I have a form/subform set. They are linked and they function, with the exception that, on the subform, a blank record is always displayed as per the below screenshot


I have changed to subform data entry property to "YES" but even though, it still shows the blank record, that should snot show
can anyone help?

Set Allow Additions of the subform to False (on the Data page in the Property Sheet).

Yes, as ste5an commented, it's because the subform allows adding new records.

You may add a button in the main form with code, to toggle additions, like:
Me![subform_control].Form.AllowAdditions = Not (Me![subform_control].Form.AllowAdditions)
