I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

These are different commands:

Ctrl+Alt+H

Open Call Hierarchy

Show where a method is called from. In the Call Hierarchy view keep expanding the tree to continue tracing the call chain.

Ctrl+H

Open Search Dialog

Opens a search dialog with extensive search options for Java packages, types, methods, and fields.

lets say i have method called
 testSum(){
c=a+b;
}

i clicked on testSum in the middle somewhere on S
i select  CONTROL+ALT+H i see call hierarchy results right
if I select CONTROL+H  then i get search option with my method and its class, package selected automatically and i click SEARCH without changing anything

how above is different from previous one?
