October 17, 2017—KB4043961 (OS Build 16299.19) Windows 10 Update Fails to Install
I am running the Windows Insider build of Windows 10 Home (64-bit). Every single night the PC tries to run a particular update ("October 17, 2017—KB4043961 (OS Build 16299.19)") and it fails.
I have tried to run it manually by downloading it and then running it. Still fails.
Anyone know how to get it to install or get it out of the update list so it stops trying to install it?
I would love to install it if possible but seeing the failure every day fr the past several months is starting to wear me down. lol
Thanks

I left the office for the day so I can take a screenshot tomorrow.
It is a page outside of the paging area type of message. After the air is shown data is collected and then the PC automatically reboots.
During the subsequent boot the update is backed out.

you can disable also that update - and wait for the next one
Download he latest cumulative updae from here: http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=KB4090913
If that installs, all is well. If it does not, do an inplace upgrade using these steps: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html

Fine. By the way, did you try the suggestion I gave you some weeks ago?
AS a last resort try the following...
Backup your data, wipe the computer and do a fresh install.
You can make an install disk here....
