This is a new issue.  What happened?  Is there someplace I need to look to fix?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,

The error message that pops up is showing the Contoso LDAP as an example.  The message implies that either the account being used to join to your domain or the password for that account is incorrect.  You could check to see if the account is locked out, or reset the password and test again.

It's showing that for all accounts... turns out it's a bug... just tested, the join works on some other TS, even with the verify error.

The one I'm having trouble joining is over a cross-forest trust.  I'll look there.

Thanks for the response.  I panicked before testing out older TS.
