I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi feck1,

You can download Windows 10 Updates from here;

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4092077

To search for future large updates, just enter the update KB number on the Microsoft Update Catalog site and it will return direct download links for you.

I hope that's helpful.

Regards, Andrew

What "big" update are talking about?
The major updates can be downloaded using the media creation tool (just google that term). The other updates are to be pulled from here most easily (only need the latest): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4018124/windows-10-update-history

I no longer bother with that page. So much crap is included on those Microsoft support pages that they irritate the hell out me when it comes to trying to find a simple download link.

Clicking the very first link on the top left "KB4092077 (OS Build 15063.936)" takes you to this page.

How to get this update
This update will be downloaded and installed if you go to the Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update page, and click Check online for updates from Microsoft Update.

No kidding? Thanks Microsoft!

You get a whole wealth of other information, but one thing is missing. A blasted download link!

It's no wonder so many people find they have to ask questions like - "Where can I download the Windows <insert version here> update from?"

Which is exactly why I provided the same link to the author. Saves a click and a ton of (imo) irrelevant reading that just serves to confuse people looking for a simple download link. Information overload.

Someone looking for the latest updates knows no kb numbers to search for, that's why I recommend that link I did. No discussion, please :-)

You can also set Windows Updates to share updates amongst Windows 10 machines.  Update Settings. Advance Settings, Delivery Options.
