Bit Defender end point security is controlled by either an on premise gravity zone console or a cloud console.  So the policies maybe set that the end users can not shut it off, nor make any changes to it at all.  So you may have to contact the end point security administrators to disable the end point security solution temporarily.

Some of the settings cannot be disabled, even when you follow all articles and options.

I have BitDefender and when compiling some code, specifically C++ I cannot whitelist or stop BitDefender.
