Cleaning my files off the malware

My files are infected with win32/grenam.gen!a. Is there any way I can clean my files off the virus because the files are important to me. Some of my softwares and executable files are not functioning properly. Is there a solution?

Some techniques I have used:
  • Remove the infected HDD, fit to a cradle and boot from a Linux Distro, scan using CLAM
  • Download one of the AV recovery ISO's from the Internet, make the CD and use this to clean the machine
  • Remove Infected HDD, fit a spare hard disk, install an OS and a AV evalutation copy, add the infected HDD scan and clean.

To reverse the infected file may not be trivial but rather try out to recover deleted file, as it may exist unless the malware does a "clean" job - ransomware does it mostly. This virus may not. Try Recuva or EaseUS
- https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/builds,
- https://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/free-data-recovery-software.htm

Suggest you boot to safe mode (with networking) and try running other scanner e.g. Spyhunter or MalwareByte - https://www.enigmasoftware.com/products/spyhunter/
(safe mode) https://www.enigmasoftware.com/support/run-spyhunter-in-safe-mode/,

Change your password and make sure they’re strong. And update the OS and AV signature
