login problems

Suddenly out of the blue I am getting an "incorrect password" message when I log in. I can log in using the web app so I know I have the correct password.

This look like Outlook or similar. Since the Web app works, you can remake the Outlook Profile (Control Panel, Mail). This will make you set up a new Account.  See if that works.  Do not use the Wizard, use the Manual Steps and point the account to your existing PST file.

Thanks I am using dashlane on my laptop for personal use. I did check CAPS lock and also checked show password option to look at password as written. I know the password hasn't changed . The only change I am aware of is that recently I have been logged in for longer periods and it has looked for a password only  every couple of weeks.  PC time and date seems ok.

I removed the program and reinstalled it without any improvement so I removed it again and deleted all local files. This worked for me and I can now log in with the original password.
Thanks for your help
