Issue with Home Directory permission

I have migrated users home directory to another files server in failover cluster.
The issue is after moving the creator owner permission is none and the drive maps is not showing while the users logged.
The drive map is given in Group policy for logonusers.
I have 490 users and it is difficult to add each domain user under their home directory. Is there is any script which we can run so that the particular donain user will have permission on their home directory.

My Os is 2016

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1st ensure that you take ownership and permissions on root folder of home directory
now select all users and assign them home directory path again with variable such as %username%
it will populate permissions on existing folder again hopefully
test the scenario for Single user 1st
for ownership use mine article below
