Google App Sync for Outlook 2016 issues

Has anyone every come across an issue when using Google App Sync for Outlook 2016?

Ive had two senarios, first one is that I couldnt get it to work on a domain machine logged in as a domain user (Profile could not be created error)  so I had to set the user up locally and map all the resouces manually. The second is on some of the domain machines,  although installed, google app sync just wont fire up and ask to enter in the user email address etc.

Ive tried removing and adding office, also remove and added Google App Sync, run sfc /scannow and also done an online repair of office has well but nadda, no luck whatsoever - anybody come across these types of errors?

All Windows 10, Office 2016 Pro Plus.

I can confirm I have the above version downloaded and also its Office 2016 Pro Plus and not Office 365 version.

The app doesnt even start up to show an error on one senario and the other just say Cannot Create Profile.

Got another machine today and that has the first type of error, install App Sync and then try and setup a new profile and the app doesnt fire up or gets displayed - nothin to see or report??
