iPad music "Item not available" when I try to play certain music files

Cannot play certain music on iPad.   "Item not available"   This item cannot be played.

Is it one of these type listed?

Are you referring to the music within Apple Music or other third party music player?

I am using the Music app on the iPad.   The files were imported from iTunes, so I assume they are one of the supported types.   They played previously in the Music app.

Maybe you need to reset the iPad. You would need back it up first

I powered down the iPad and restarted it.   It then downloaded most of the music files.   Do I need to do anything else to reset it?

If it is playing the music files you want then you should be fine. Also make sure your iPad is at the latest IOS level.

Only do a reset if , after all the above, some music still does not play
