Exchange 2016 organization name change

is there a way to change the ORGANIZATION NAME in Exchange server 2016.  I accidentally used a wrong name while preparing the installation to a new server.

Yes, as Mahesh said don't try to change it.

If you still need for cosmetics, then the only way is to decommission that new exchange server and clear org details.

Hi osei gunthorpe,
Do you mean you ran command "setup.exe /preparead /organizationname:<>" ?
If yes you dont need to worry about that. That is only used by exchange admin. i.e. Only in the backend.
This will not make difference on user side even if you change.

If not please elaborate.
It will not make any issues as it is not used anywhere in administration and user interface
However I believe you cannot change as it gets hard coded and propagated all along
Do not try to change it or it will break exchange functionality some how

Agree with the above comments. Your only option is to uninstall Exchange and run setup with new name
setup.exe /preparead /organizationname:new-org-name.

But you are wasting your time just for changing name with no difference in functionality.
