I can confirm this. We use Veeam and this is the best backup solution so far. We've never had an issue with it. From my experience it's really reliable.
We use 10 VMs and 2 physical servers and everything works like a charm.
If you can, go for it.

If it doesn't persuade you, please see this and reed all pros: http://www.dynamicgroup.in/pdf/top_10_reasons_choose_veeam.pdf
1. Agentless
2. Built-in advanced replication
3. Instant VM Recovery™ (patented)
4. Instant File-Level Recovery Any OS and file system Windows, maybe Linux
5. Instant application-item recovery Any application and file system Select applications only
6. Automated recovery verification (patented)
7. Built-in, source-side compression and deduplication
8. Simple offsite backups
9. Storage agnostic
10. Easy to deploy and configure
Hi,

we are using Veeam as well, and it work really well. I have worked with their support, and they are ok.
If  you want all abilities then you should go to Enterprise edition, as Standard is not equipped with all goodies :)

Protection for physical servers work via agents, but keep in mind that you cannot configure those agents remotely, but you can see what are they doing in management console. This is not a problem, since you will install it once and forget about it.

All in all, we like it :)

Regards,
Ivan.
I'm using Symantec Backup Exec for years now.
Never got problem with it.
For regular serve and some VMs you don;t need any special licenses, only if you going to backup SQL or Exchange.
Backup is quick and you have all option to backup to, from Tape, through disk or NAS.
You can restore whole system, single folder or single file from any server.
In case of disaster, if you have backup off-site you can restore system to new hardware.
I'd not go for Backup Exec. I am concerned abour EOSS and EOSL.

I use VEEAM Backup and replication for Virtual machines and VEEAM Agent for Physical Machines.
We are using Veeam for VMs and Iperius backup for (physical) FileServer backup.

Thanks to all.
As this question still has nothing marked as solution:

In the meantime Veeam has got central management for Agents (physical Servers, Cloud-Servers, Laptops, ...)

So I would also recommend Veeam
