Wifi AP stuck to back of TV - possible signal interference?

We've discovered a Wifi access point stuck to the back of a 55" Samsung TV. Can the TV interfere with the wifi signal?

If the TV uses Wi-Fi then yes.  I would not put an access point here

Yes, I know, but just to ensure that interference is not created, I would put the Access Point somewhere else.
