Improve the load time of WordPress website

The website I am working on is timing out on slow internet connections so I cam trying to improve the load times.  www.lindalouisehill.co.uk

I have taken necessary steps such as installing the following plugins and changing settings to improve cache settings although I am aware that with these installed have I made it worse.

P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler)
W3 Total Cache

I run a scan and found that Contact Form 7 was by far the most inefficient so perhaps I consider changing to another contact form that is faster?

I have also deleted all old blogs and content no longer required.

it is difficult to test my changes at the moment as my connection speeds are fine, I am aware that I am on basic Host Papa hosting too which will also have an impact on load times

Do you test the speed while being logged out?

Check with your website host. Sometimes they are responsible for slow website.

Check this website for more tips on improving the performance of a WordPress site.

One of the ways is called caching and it uses a plugin called WP Super Cache.

Shaun, no I hadn't which I need to do and also noticed the website displays slightly different on my mobile phone and varying browsers so need to look at that.

Qian, some good point there, think I really need to consider investing a little more money into a faster host than I have too as even when on a very fast 4g connection my sites load slower than many other sites I visit.

I do have a caching plugin but not that one and not figured out all of the settings too so will go and look at that too.
