How Does Renaming an Active Directory Group Impact User Access to folders.

I have AD security group that has access to folders.
I would ike to rename that Security Group to different display name and account name. I mean later when you look at any of the folder/subfolder/file security permissions you should see the new name instead of the old one.

What is the best way to accomplish that without interrupting user access to their files and folders.
