Crystal Report Running Total Formula

I have a question about crystal reports.

I have a Running Total Formula that I need to do the following below but it is not working. Basically I am trying to sum all the Kansas products that are in category 41,42,43.  If no products are found in the those category display inventory products as 0.  My report shows results as blank

if ToNumber({KansasInventory.cat})>40 and  ToNumber({KansasInventory.cat})<44
then
TonUMBER({@DisplayKKansasInventroyProductsy})
else
ToNumber({@DisplayKansasInventroyProducts}) = 0

Try it this way.

if ToNumber({KansasInventory.cat})>40 and  ToNumber({KansasInventory.cat})<44
 then
     TonUMBER({@DisplayKKansasInventroyProductsy})
 else
     0

Open in new window

Put the formula in the detail section
Right click it
Click INSERT --> SUMMARY
Set the summary as a sum
