Mysql Error log

I am getting frequent problem with mysql production DB with below mentioned error

180316 15:31:40 /opt/mysql/bin/mysqld: Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/#sql_5017_10.MYI'; try to repair it
180316 15:31:40 Got an error from unknown thread, /mnt/mysql-5.5.17/storage/myisam/mi_write.c:223
180316 15:31:40 /opt/mysql/bin/mysqld: Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/#sql_5017_16.MYI'; try to repair it
180316 15:31:40 Got an error from unknown thread, /mnt/mysql-5.5.17/storage/myisam/mi_write.c:223
180316 15:31:40 /opt/mysql/bin/mysqld: Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/#sql_5017_12.MYI'; try to repair it

Detail log file is enclosed for reference.  Please let me know whether is it  DB problem or Storage problem

It seems look like your DB temp storage problem. The problem is caused by the lack of disk space in /tmp folder. The /tmp volume is used in queries that require to create temporary tables. These temporary tables are in MyISAM format even if the query is using only tables with InnoDB.

Thank you for immediate response.  This means clearly it is not storage problem. because our vendor is arguing that it is nothing to with their application DB and is something else.  please confirm.

You need to rebuild the table - go for repair table tablename. Importantly why MyISAM? Look to switch to InnoDB.
