Google Business : someone hijacked my account and assigned it to their own store

Someone who had access to my Google Business password has hijacked my account. Basically they logged in and transferred ownership of Google Maps, Google Business and my Blog over to a different company.

This account USED to be owned by me. But now I've been completely cut off. I also no longer have access to my blog or my Google Business account.

I've searched on Google on how to report this and recover my hijacked account, but all I'm finding is information about recovering my password, etc. I know my password. But the problem is when I log in I just no longer have access to all these features (maps, business, blog).

Can someone please direct me in the proper direction to get help from Google. It seems like they used some link within the Google system to "transfer ownership" of this business to their store.

click fix issue in the upper right corner, then click access and ownership, then click other click on email support and fill out the form that opens. There used to be a call option between 8-5 pst but i think that has been removed. I believe email is the only option now.

As Expert "Robert Ornelas" has stated, you will need Google Business Support to restore access to your account.

If you have set recovery options on your account, you may be able to use the automated system to restore your ownership using this link:

https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6294825?hl=en

If you did not set recovery options, then contacting Google directly will be your only option.

May I suggest that once you regain access to your account, that you do the following things;

  1. Configure recovery options
  2. Enable 2-Factor authentication using your Mobile telephone number

That way, no one will be able to hijack your account again.

Thanks Robert Ornelas. When I get to this "other" option.. nothing about email support comes up.

It seems like they have an issue with "One or more of your business listings aren't published. Complete the verification process to show your business listing on Maps and Search." Well, that verification process was done long ago. But since my business account was hijacked, ... well Google doesn't even believe I even have a business listing. so now what?
