No option to schedule a meeting in microsoft teams

I am using MS teams and noticed there is no option to schedule a meeting. The option is on in the admin panel but missing from teams. Any ideas? thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do you have the Meetings tab visible? Where is your mailbox located? Have you tried via the Teams web client (

Ah I think the issue is my mailbox is still on premise in exchange! I have hybrid setup. I assume once its moved to 365 the meetings option will appear in teams
