Microsoft teams invited users
I am evaluating office 365 and in particular teams. I see there is an option in teams for inviting guests and this works really well. My question is if guests are free then why would I bother paying for a license for users to access teams. I get that a full licensed user will obviously get much more features but I’m wondering what the draw back is to invited users, thanks
Cause Guests are users external to your company, as in users from other tenants or users with consumer email addresses. They cannot access half the features in Teams, and almost none of the collaboration features across Office 365.

If someone made an error and invited the wrong email this could lead to to a security issue, any suggestions for safeguarding? I assume it's possible to only allow authorised domains?
