system image backup file
My computer crashed but before it did I created a system backup and on the new computer I was able to create a system recovery repair disk. It showed that the backup was successful but my system image is 0 bytes. Is this normal?
No, did you use Windows to create that image or a third party program?
ASKER
I used the backup and restore feature to create it
Where is this image reading 0 bytes? Is it on a CD/DVD or something. I ask this because in some cases file formats read by other programs that don't recognize it can give invalid sizes.
ASKER
The image files are on an external hard drive and when I right click on the folder name and choose properties it shows 0 bytes
If it is a folder have you looked inside of it? See if these videos help you.
