PowerPoint - Adjust columns and rows for a table on Mac

I use the latest version of PowerPoint for the Mac and want to use the table feature. But I can not change the size of the Table.'

I need to add a row. How do I do that?

Use the table adjustment handles to resize and either right-click to insert additional rows (as in the video clip) or click the Layout tab in the ribbon and use the buttons.
