Unstuff the zip file by double-clicking it or simply Cmd+O.

Then you need to quit Word or Powerpoint while you install a new font for Office applications.

Fonts on a mac, are generally placed in: Users/yourhomefolder/Library/Fonts. If you don't see Library folder in your home folder, go to Show View Options (Cmd+J) and at the bottom of that menu: Show Library Folder.

When you have placed your font there, close the folder and start up Word again.

Here is a link from Microsoft with more info. You will need to extract the zip file first...  which you can do with opening via finder.
