I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

what is your client os?
if you want machine to be azure ad join, for Windows 10 it is natively supported
But for win 8 / 7 you must join those machines to local domain 1st and then can join to azure ad
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/device-management-azuread-joined-devices-setup

 for win 10
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/device-management-azuread-joined-devices-setup#prerequisites

and you will not much get with cloud only joining in corporate environment
