Windows 2008 r2 installation mouse and keyboard not working

I’m trying to install windows 2008 r2 on a desktop computer (Lenovo ThinkCentre M72e), the installation goes well but mouse and keyboard won’t work to continue the install. Any advice?

The keyboard on that machine is built in and there is no driver. You can try the Vista mouse driver and see if that works.

The machine you are using is in no way certified to run Server 2008. You would need to run it as a virtual machine.

The problem is that to install any driver I will need a mouse and or a keyboard this machine does not have an integrated keyboard. I was hoping to find a way other than virtualizing

Put a Windows Workstation OS on the Machine, Install VMware Workstation and run Server 2008 as a guest machine
