Raspberry Pi3 and Brother 720D Scanner.

Good day,

I would like to install a USB Portable Scanner ( Brother 720D ) to a Raspberry Pi3. I am struggling to install. Can you please shed some light as to how to proceed?

Ok let me be specific. I have the USB scanner, and i would like to scan in Windows Terminal Server. on the Pi i have installed xSANE.

I got the scanner to scan, now its just a matter of passing it through RDP client.

any ideas, i was able to get it to functional on Ubuntu MATE on a regular laptop but when in Pi3 Xsane is unable to find scanner.
