Report parameter brings out Like-value not Exact-value.

In a Crystal report I'm developing, one of the parameter picks on "CustomerRating", the Customer Rating field in the database is of type VARCHAR, and the values stored looks something like this: AC1, AC2, C1, C2, and so forth, when I'm defining "C1" in my parameter selection, I'm getting both "AC1" and "C1".

Your thoughts.
Thx

Is your selection formula an = or LIKE?

mlmcc; it's been a while, hope all is well with you, this was an Array formula tied to a parameter, if at run time the parameter is left blank (in our case * only) the report brings out all transactions, otherwise the report brings out only the value defined in the parameter, the array code;

If "*" in {?CustomerRating} then true else {Command.CustomerRating} in {?CustomerRating} and true

After reading your question, I changed the array from the above to the below version;

If "*" in {?CustomerRating} then true else {Command.CustomerRating} = {?CustomerRating} and true

 & Voila.

Many Thanks
