accessing an OpenSuse Linux system remotely using a Windows computer on the same network

I would like to access an OpenSuse Linux desktop, remotely from a Windows computer - all on the same network.
How can this be accomplished?

run the command apt-get update then sudo apt-get install xrdp then sudo apt-get install xfce4

You should be use something like TightVNC and just connect via a windows vnc client.
