Email Account Removed

One of my email accounts is no longer active - the provider changed servers and a new email address was issued.  I removed the old account from Windows LIve Mail.  I can still see the emails from the old account, but they will not open.  How can I make them viewable again?

I would say contact the email service provider for pst files of your email if it is pop or imap you can locate the pst files in your pc in AppData folder

The files are no longer on the provider's server.  Due to server storage space, emails are deleted once downloaded to the local client.
So did you download the old email earlier?

If not, the emails are gone.

If you did, did you check all your Outlook Accounts. If the account was deleted from Live Mail (good reason not to use this product), then the emails are also gone.
Was is it pop imap or exchange mail server if it is pop or imap check your appdata\local\Microsoft\outlook etc if the pst file is there go to outlook and import emails manually by browsing to that pst file.
It was Windows Live Mail (according the above) so no PST file.
I created a backup of the emails and they will open from the backup, but not from within Live Mail.  What email client would you suggest?  Outlook would be a choice if the Live Mail files will import.

I ended up resolving the issue myself although John provided a suggestion that I will use in the future.
