I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have tried this and i am getting an error "Calendar sharing is not available with the following entities because settings on your network"

I have added a new Mail Contact. Tried sharing calendar with the contact from GAL. Same error
I also tried creating a distribution group, adding external email address to that group. When trying to share the calendar i am getting the same error.

the new contact you added to the GAL. Did you first remove that email address from your auto complete cache and then grab the address from the GAL. delete the contact address first from the auto complete cache in outlook first.
