Automatic Tag Virtual Machine

in VMware 6.5 vSAN stretch cluster environment, if a virtual machine failover to another ESX, is it possible to automatically assign a "tag".

do you mean network tag?

your networking needs to be the same for each host throughout....

You mean automation?  When there is a host failover and VMs migrate to a different host you create some kind of TAG on them?

Never did try this, but the only way I see to do something similar is creating a workflow in vROPS. But even that, honestly I can say is possible.

A script would do it....but you would have to create the virtual machine portgroup on the fly!

why not already have it created ? if its truly stretched all your vLANs should be available at both sites anyway
