I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

do you mean network tag?

your networking needs to be the same for each host throughout....

You mean automation?  When there is a host failover and VMs migrate to a different host you create some kind of TAG on them?

Never did try this, but the only way I see to do something similar is creating a workflow in vROPS. But even that, honestly I can say is possible.

A script would do it....but you would have to create the virtual machine portgroup on the fly!

why not already have it created ? if its truly stretched all your vLANs should be available at both sites anyway
