How do reclaim space (unused VM partition) back to the Datastore?

I use vSphere host (5.1.0 Free) with 1 Windows SBS VM (thin provisioning). I'm running low on storage space on the Primary datastore because I have over provisioned it to the VM. Now, I have about 20 GB unused partition on my VM that I'd like to put back to the datastore. How do I accomplish this?

The only method is following my EE Article

HOW TO: Shrink a VMware Virtual Machine Disk (VMDK) in 15 minutes

or use VMware Converter, but you've got no space to create the new V2V. VM.

Thanks for the guide, Andrew. I'll definitely do that once I get the space I need.
Since I do not have the space to move the VM, what I ultimately did was to do (1) defrag, (2) SDelete free space, and (3) punchzero the zero space. This reclaimed about 80 GB.
