Leverage browser caching not working

Hi,  truenasreseller dot com is the site, it's running the latest wordpress. I've got the leverage browser caching plugin installed, and htaccess shows it's there, see attached. But gtmetrix.com shows that browser caching is not enabled, they are still giving an F and a 0 rating. Why would that be so?

I'm hosted on Bluehost, with whom I'm very unhappy, but for the time being I want to get this grade up so that I can show them the issue is on their end. Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Because if you look at the details, your Wordpress install has set the expirations to 6 hours.  And you have no control over anything that comes from other site.  The expiration times for the various Google sources are all different and not under your control.

So on the htaccess, I could remove this section?

<IfModule mod_expires.c>
      ExpiresActive On
      ExpiresByType image/jpg "access plus 6 hours"
      ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access plus 6 hours"
      ExpiresByType image/gif "access plus 6 hours"
      ExpiresByType image/png "access plus 6 hours"
      ExpiresByType text/css "access plus 6 hours"
      ExpiresByType application/pdf "access plus 1 week"
      ExpiresByType text/javascript "access plus 6 hours"
      ExpiresByType text/html "access plus 10 minutes"
      ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access plus 1 year"
      ExpiresDefault "access plus 3 hours"

You could but it doesn't gain you anything.  GTmetrix will still see the Google links and say you aren't doing it right.  I suggest you ignore that.  You've done everything you can already.
