Elasticsearch not picking up the new indices

Hi Experts,

Elastic search is not picking up path.data after adding new indices to that data path.

I had also restart the elasticsearch service, still not picking up the new data.

I had checked with
sudo curl -XGET 'http://172.17.0.1:9200/_cat/indices?v&pretty' produces the same results. after moving many indices files to that folder.

yellow open   ntdl_v01 Cfx3yS5WRYiwJkOctqexqw   5   1          0            0       955b           955b

it returns the same old indices.

Will the new indices be under the same ntdl_v01 index, if I copy the new indices files to that path.data folder.

How to maintain the same ntdl1_v01 without changing the index name by adding adding more indices files and folders to it.

Please help me in resolving this issue

With Many Thanks,
