Excel unable to refresh data. Macros may be disabled.

Excel - I get message "Unable to refresh data. Cannot run the macro "XFInternalPrepareCalculationStep". The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled". I get this message when I open a saved Excel workbook. Attached is a copy of the message. When I open the file formulas don't update.

1. Check Calculation is set to Automatic from the Formulas Tab -> Calculation Options

2. Is that macro in your workbook?

If the macro is failing then it might be switching Calculation to manual, but the error stops it from returning Calculation to automatic.

ConernestoAuthor Commented:
