Meeting requests going to deleted folder

On public folder calendar- If I create an event and invite myself, the event gets emailed to me but goes directly into my deleted folder.
I do not have any rules setup and I have unchecked "The delete meeting requests and notifications from Inbox after responding"

This issue occurred right after our migration from exchange server to 365 outlook. Also,We have two of these public folder calendars, only one is acting this way.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try these settings:

Options -> Calendar Options
Uncheck the following checkboxes:
  • Automatically place new meeting requests on my calendar, marked Tentative
  • Move out-of-date meeting requests and responses to the Deleted Items folder

I think they are options available through OWA. Sorry, should have added that.

Check your mailbox type. It should be an user mailbox. Sometime corrupt rules can cause this issue. On-prem we can check with MFCMapi. Better you open case with Office 365.

I found these two options in OWA but did not help.
