Synology NAS auto updates an HyperV vm's running on it: shutdown/boot automatically?

I have a Synology NAS. I'd like to buy a NUC to put Hyper-V on and run some vm's.
Now my Synology auto-updates so when I would run the vm's on the NAS, they would crash.
Is there a way to make the Hyper-V host to shutdown when Synology updates (always at night) and boot the vm's once it is up?
There is a PS module for Synology but not sure if that will help:

Turn off auto-updates on the Synology! Then you decide when it updates and reboots, rather than it making those decisions for you.
