SonicOS 6.5 CFS question

I upgraded our SonicWall at the beginning of the year and have some confusion regarding SonicOS's  CFS.  The device is running SonicOS Enhanced 6.5.0.2-8n.

(1) Is there a way to get a log of *ALL* CFS entries?  When I look under:

Log Settings > Base Setup > Security Services > Content Filter

It shows:

CFS Alert = 1461
Website Accessed = 16
Website Blocked = 14

However, I can't figure out how to get to that log.

(2) Is there a way for me to be emailed anytime someone gets the "blocked" screen with the details shown on the block screen they see?

TIA.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi fcummins,

I have answered your questions below:

(1) Is there a way to get a log of *ALL* CFS entries?
Yes, go to Investigate > Appflow Reports > URL Ratings. This will give you the ranking, number of sessions & percentage. You can export a report from there or send a report.

(2) Is there a way for me to be emailed anytime someone gets the "blocked" screen with the details shown on the block screen they see?
You can be emailed on a per-event basis by going to Manage > Log Settings > Automation. Then configure your mail server. Lastly, go to Manage > Log Settings > Base Setup and under the Email Column header uncheck all then locate the items you want to receive mail notifications like CFS, etc.

Additionally, I like to modify the HTML in the default CFS block page and send the link to your helpdesk that way tickets can be directly initiated and handled for false-positives, etc. instead of the SonicWALL URL landing page.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
