What is your client OS? Win10 should scale up alright (use the same settings as on the client monitor in the RDP session), while win7 will act differently and win8.1, I am not sure about, but it should be alright.

Hi,

The client OS is Windows 10. I don't want to scale the display of my Windows 10, just in the RDP session.
McKnifeCommented:
Sure, understood. As far as I know, win10's rdp client should do that automatically and simply use the same scaling level as you see on the host, the same that you are able to set on the host, so right what you want. if it does not, either my background info is wrong, or your rdp client simply does not behave.

Did you try with different win10 versions, including the latest v1709, yet?

I dont want tu use scaling in my windows 10 session, just in the rdp session. Is it possible ?
McKnifeCommented:
Not really.
You can however use external tools that remove the limitation that microsoft imposes. Would you want to use a third party freeware for that (small executable)? I could attach it.

There you go. Change the extension from .doc to .exe, please. EE does not allow .exe uploads, that's why.

this utility changes only the text size, but not the size of all windows, objetcs.... I saw that the windows 10 rdp client have a menu (top left window) to adjust zoom. It works, but when i close and restart then rdp session, i have 100% again. is it possible to store the zoom to 125% by example ? And, is it possible to have the same option on Windows 7... ?

Thanks
McKnifeCommented:
That zooming option is like the magnifier application and extending the screen so that you will have to scroll to see anything - I would not want that. Maybe you need a different RDP client, the current has no way to enable zooming by default.
