What I want is to Dsum the values in query field Actual Closing to be opening stock in the report as on 28.03.2018, that is where my problem is , see attached

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm confused on what you really need.

What I want is to Dsum the values in query field Actual Closing to be opening stock  in the report as on 28.03.2018

That doesn't make sense to me, why would getting the opening stock price be a sum calculation, typically I would expect that to be a single value, and usually the closing price of the stock the prior day, no?

It's not clear from what you have said what you really need here...
