ok is an better way
but in an practical situation
i will need ask
for an 2 digit , 3 digit
i refer the order of the columns
as it appear
Why do you need the red in columns D, F and H. Instead the code could just ask you for the the 4-digit numbers you want to count.

What does "show by column sample fist column then second column" mean?
i refer the order of the columns

i refer the order of the columnsI assume you mean columns on Sheet2, but you have only one column in the SELECTION sheet, so how do I show columns in the SELECTION sheet?
I guess a picture of what the output would look like if you looked for 68 would help.

I haven't tried it but you can probably do it if you remember not to look for a 4-digit number.
