Does PCI-e adapter for SM951 SSD work with other M.2 SSDs?
I'm looking to buy an Intel M.2 1TB ssd and pair it up with this adapter:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Adapter-Card-to-PCI-E-x4-Power-off-protection-half-Height-Bracket-for-SM951-SSD/222039068163?hash=item33b28f4e03:g:wIIAAOSwWTRW1WI5
But the adapter says it's for SM951 SSD.
Will it still work with other M.2 SSDs or does it have some kind of special support for that drive only?
The adapter has power-off protection and I suspect it will be tailored to a certain SSD type because of that?
When I look up SM951 SSD it appears to be a type of Samsung SSD.
