Control visitors on questionair web page

Hi,

We are working with a marketing strategy  for assisting surveying certain areas.  The front end is a screen with a series of questions which will later be analyzed.  Our concern to EE  is how can we protect or make sure that visitors are not repeating the questionair.   Also, detect if same ip or if the visitors somehow hiding their ip.  We are trying to assure the visitors is one visit per actual visit to the pages, no repeats.

Please advice.

If you are using an invite system, then users can have a link to a survey is unique, any repeats can be ignored.

You cannot use IP because that might change. Perhaps a register/login process with a verify email

rayluvsAuthor Commented:
That’s what we want, to detect the user’s ip.

But what I am saying is that that will not give you the functionality you want

So how do I control that a visitor doesn’t take the same survey from the same computer, location, etc.?

rayluvsAuthor Commented:
Makes sense and just reread entries and you did recommend it before.

Anything else you think we should consider for controlling the reduction of same visitor entering the we page multiple times? (in additional to email/login recommendation)

CAPTCHA and perhaps a browser cookie saved after the questionnaire
