How to ensure email delivery
Recently our email provider started identifying invoices being sent via email as spam, deep sixing them and not sending us any notification. Supposedly the false positive identifying the email as spam is being fixed.
Question is - What can I do, and not host my own email, to know when the email does not reach the recipient. Without having to try and correlate read/receive receipt with every invoice sent out the day before.
Hope that makes sense?
Thanks

I would also get rid of the email provider. At very worst, they should quarantine the email and let you choose (whitelist) what email you want. That is how my providers work.

This appears to be an industry standard of handling outbound email identified as spam
I have not seen widespread use of deleting email as a spam prevention method. Quarantining is a more widespread practice amongst services I deal with.
David says to consider Mail Chimp.. A number of my clients use Constant Contact. The point here is a use a bona fide sender provider.

Not sure I can use company names here, but this is a well known Domain/DNS/Email provider.
But back to my original question, is there a way I can ensure delivery without a lot of labor being involved

You need to check your Domain in SpamHaus or like to see if it has been blacklisted.

Nothing on spamhaus
Email has never been reliable or secure.. You said that your email provider, the one that you pay for service, so when you sent the email to them expecting them to send the email to the clients silently deleted them as spam without sending them onward as per your contract for services?

This is a separate subject and is being taken care of. We may eventually leave them BUT all of this does not address the question I asked.
I’m going to assume there is no answer.

Thanks, that's all I wanted to know. There is no way of knowing if the email was delivered. I just wanted to know if there was something I was missing
Perhaps using mailchimp would be a better solution for invoicing
