Remove Android's ads

My Note4's Android  kept flashing advertisements & I had to touch the "Close" button on the
touch screen : I'd like  to remove this.  Kindly provide step by step instruction

You need to uninstall the app that creates those popups. Do you have any idea what appl you installed that caused this?

It's a used device that I bought : seller told me she has reset it before passing to me.
Maybe I take a screen shot of it.  Usually it will come up after the device idles, sort of
screen saver

Do your own factory reset. I have seen this on a lot of Apps, for example GoLauncher (Free) is getting really bad with all their ads

From the "multi-task manager", I saw an app called "Peel Remote" :
but I can't locate this app from my Android's  Desktop.

How to locate it & uninstall it?  Whenever an ad pops up, from the
multi-task manager, I wud kill this "Peel Remote"
