Mvc format in html to 2 decimal places (and allow nulls)

I've got the following in .cshtml file

Open in new window

I've altered it to

@String.Format("{0:N0}", @d.Mean)

Open in new window

which strips off the 2 decimal places :)

However, it doesn't work on this one as the value @d.Maximum is sometimes null
@String.Format("{0:N0}", @d.Maximum)

Any ideas what I do in the html to do this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please check if this works. Did not test it yet, from memory
@!string.IsNullOrEmpty(@d.Maximum)  ?  String.Format("{0:N0}", @d.Maximum) : "0.00";
